#TED Talk 1 Inside the mind of a master procrastinator
3 keywords I learn from the talk
procrastinator
someone who keeps delaying things that must be done.
ex: I never buy my gifts until Christmas Eve because I'm a procrastinator.
ethic
a system of accepted beliefs that control behaviour, especially such a system based on morals.
ex: The ethics of journalism are much debated.
epiphany
a moment when you suddenly feel that you understand, or suddenly become conscious of, something that is very important to you.
ex: I had an epiphany recently.
A summary of the talk
This talk is about procrastination. In this talk, the speaker knows that procrastination doesn't make sense, but he's never been able to shake his habit of waiting until the last minute to get things done. He doesn't think non-procrastinators exist. He encourages us to think about what we're really procrastinating on before we run out of time.
